I've worked at the Andrea Brown Literary Agency since 2017, an agency consistently ranked #1 in juvenile sales by Publishers Marketplace.

I come to agenting with a background in marketing, design, and freelance editorial. Before agenting I worked at various publishing houses, The National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and a ranch in the Rockies to name a few. I have an MA in Children's Literature and an MFA in Writing for Children from Simmons University, and is currently serving as co-chair on the Association of American Literary Agents' (AALA) Communications Committee. I have worked at ABLA since 2017 and am also the founder of COwrite, which offers writing classes and workshops for writers of all levels.

​I am based in Lafayette, CO. If I'm not reading, you'll find me training for long distance open water swims, re-watching the Great British Baking Show, or hiking with my Husky-Shepherd mix.
Marlo

Marlo is a German Shepherd-Husky mix adopted from Douglas County Canine Rescue. She is an expert on all things canine, food, or fetch related. She provides excellent stress relief and snuggles.

When she's not sleeping under the desk, you can find her enjoying long hikes or disrupting meetings with her squeaky toy.
